Promise Kept is a solid sequel to Promise Broken. You see the growth in Promise as she tries to make it on her own in New York. Readers will also be interested to know what Asher is up to. There are also some new players in the game that keeps the story moving. K’wan gives readers good character development, plot twists , and wordplay with Promise Kept.
