Regan works as a teacher in Forth Worth, Texas, and her mundane life is fine by her. But when she learns of the bizarre, untimely death of her beloved uncle, Donald "Potbelly" Cotton, Regan must return to her childhood home. Back in Wright City, she is bombarded with memories of the alienation she felt as an overweight child. Old feelings resurface, especially between Regan and Elias, her childhood crush.

Elias is in town for a while, recovering after his job as a DEA agent left him near death. As Elias helps Regan search for Uncle Potbelly's killer, he can't help but try to pursue the love he wanted with her all those years ago. Regan feels the same way about him, but she tries to remain focused on the task at hand. Will she give up on Elias to search for the truth? Will Elias always know Regan as The One That Got Away?

To be considered for a book review, a book description (think Amazon.com or the back of the book), copy of book cover image (if available), AND excerpt of your book must be sent via email to books@urban-reviews.com.
