Have you ever known someone who was so paranoid that it almost drove you crazy? Do people think you are little too paranoid?
Tracy Samuels is smart, pretty... and a complete mess. Everyone in her life walks on eggshells around her and pretends to overlook her obvious flaw - she is paranoid nearly to the point of insanity, and getting worse and worse as time goes along. Not to mention she is on her way to becoming an alcoholic. She doesn't trust anyone, including her own mother, and believes that most if not all people around her are out to get her. Don't let her find out you were talking about her behind her back or she may go into one of her fits. Sometimes it can get nasty - and even violent.
She meets Mike Jenkins, a neighborhood thug who strangely she trusts more than anyone she knows - it is as if he knows her plight and will protect her from her perceived dangers. Tracy's afraid that if she introduces the incredibly attractive Mike to her rich beautiful friends, one will steal him away. Will Tracy's paranoia get the best of her and alienate her from her family and friends? Who can she really trust?
