Being married to a former NFL player has it perks...or does it? Naima Ari Fairchild has known her husband, Kaden, since she was teenager. Being high school sweethearts, the two married shortly after a teenage pregnancy. Life has not been a bed of roses for the two, but they managed to make it work...or so it looks on the outside. Dealing with her husband's infidelity caused a lot of heartache and pain. Naima continued to stay even though she refused to be intimiate with him until she was able to trust her husband again. After a long period of time has gone by, she decides to give her husband one last chance to come clean about anything else he may be hiding. Kaden assures her that there is nothing else he needs to tell her. Still not fully trusting him, she decides to drop her guard some and begin trying to restore their marriage.

Unfortunately, Kaden was not completely honest with his wife. He's been hiding a secret that he knows if Naima finds out will destroy their marriage. But as we all know, what is done in the dark, eventually comes to light. And when the truth is brought to the light, Naima is too through. Enough is enough and so she packs up, takes the kids and leaves.

Enter the sexy and charming Damir. When he walks into Naima's office and sees her for the first time, he knew he wanted the opportunity to get to know her. With the demise of her marriage, Naima decides to begin dating Damir. She is happy for the first time in a long time, but Damir has a secret of his own.

Coveted by Mychea is a story of love, lust, lies and betrayal. For the most part, this was a pretty good story. The problem lies in there was just too much going on within the story in so few pages. Scenarios within the story that are unbelievable or not explained well enough. With a good developmental editor, this story could have easily been rated higher.
