Jamison Jones Scott is back home after being out of the country for four years. She left to join a physician’s relief organization after canceling her wedding. Jamie now has to face her family that she separated herself from all of those years ago. But when there’s a murder mystery at her family’s business, Jamie’s homecoming may not be what she expected.


Murder, mayhem, and secrets are what you’ll find in Homecoming Chaos by D.W. Brooks. This story pulls you in from the first page. Brooks brought readers a story that has a good mix of mystery and contemporary fiction with a little romance thrown in. Jamie and her family are very complex and interesting characters. Brooks did a good job of revealing who was behind a very twisted murder mystery. You will be surprised when all of the dots are connected. Homecoming Chaos is a thrilling debut novel by D.W. Brooks. Hopefully this a start to a series and we will see more of Jamie and her family in the future.
