Brooks brought readers a story that has a good mix of mystery and contemporary fiction with a little romance thrown in. Jamie and her family are very complex and interesting characters. Brooks did a good job of revealing who was behind a very twisted murder mystery. You will be surprised when all of the dots are connected. Homecoming Chaos is a thrilling debut novel by D.W. Brooks. Hopefully this a start to a series and we will see more of Jamie and her family in the future.
